Process Mechanics specialising in Plastics and Rubber Technology (Fittings) are responsible for planning operational processes relating to the production of fittings on the basis of customer requirements and technical specifications.

They determine processing parameters, set up injection moulding machines and peripheral devices accordingly and monitor the entire production process. 

What you will need 

Proficiency in the area of mathematics, physics and chemistry is an essential prerequisite.

Secondary school education (at a level equivalent to Realschule or Hauptschule – or higher – in Germany), metalworking college
