Kirn. 225 years at SIMONA AG – this is the impressive total racked up by eight members of staff at Kirn. On Wednesday 12 December 2018 they were thanked for their many years of loyal service with a celebration at the Kyrburg in Kirn. Along with HR Director Helena Lau, CFO Michael Schmitz, Andy Hohlreiter from the works council and Deputy Chairman Dirk Möller, the partners of the eight employees were also invited to join in the celebrations. In a short speech, Dirk Möller said a few words about each of them and looked back at their time with the company. He thanked them for their many years of loyal service and presented them with a special pin and certificate. He said a very special thank you to Alfons Theis: “Fifty years of service to the company – these days, that’s something very special and it makes us feel quite proud at SIMONA”. The presentations were followed by a convivial evening of good food and entertaining anecdotes.
