Kirn. The corona virus is mainly transmitted from person to person by droplet infection. In order to make shops and other facilities safer, Gunnar Venter, on behalf of Gewerbeinitiative Kirner Land, accepted 90 sheets of SIMOLUX as a donation from SIMONA.

The transparent material, which is based on PETG, can be used to construct fixtures that help to prevent precisely this type of transmission. Shops in Kirn can now collect the crystalclear sheets free of charge and use them in their stores to protect their employees and customers from infection, while also ensuring they comply with hygiene regulations.
