The existing vehicle fleet at the corporate headquarters of SIMONA AG has been extended to include two all-electric cars for sustainable transport, one from Volkswagen and the other from BMW. Rapid-charging stations have been installed at Plants I and II. The electric vehicles are to be used primarily as a means of transport at the company site itself. However, with a range of up to 300 km they are also more than capable of travelling longer distances.

SIMONA has set itself ambitious targets with regard to the carbon dioxide emissions of its vehicle fleet. The two new e-cars are an important step in that direction. Thanks to SIMONA's transition to electric vehicles, intra-company transport will be more sustainable and environmentally friendly in future.
