The award, the first of its kind to be conferred by the company, was presented at the RECARO Global Supplier Day event in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany. RECARO Aircraft Seating is a market leader for seating solutions in the aviation industry, the focus being on combining innovation with comfort. The Global Supplier Day brought together suppliers from around the world and acknowledged achievements in various categories. SIMONA Boltaron was recognized for sustainable innovation in the aviation industry.
The award acknowledges SIMONA Boltaron's strategic efforts to reduce energy consumption, promote a circular economy, and implement in-house recycling solutions. This includes TERREFORM®, a newly developed and highly innovative plastic sheet for the manufacture of aircraft seat components. It features up to 100% recycled content. Utilizing high-performance thermoplastics, SIMONA Boltaron is renowned for delivering durable, lightweight solutions that meet the stringent demands of the aviation sector.
