Applications-focused product communication now also applied to PP category

Alongside the extension to our product range in the area of PP-C sheets and welding rods as well as the changeover of pressed sheets (≥ 80 mm) from PP-DWU AlphaPlus® to PP-H grey, as already implemented, we will now be looking to rename other products in our PP-DWU/-DWST portfolio to PP-H.

We are committed to simplifying the process of selecting suitable SIMONA materials for specific fields of application within the area of PP. Our existing and very extensive range of SIMONA® PP-H (-DWU/-DWST) products offers you premium quality for highly demanding areas of application. Additionally, we are able to offer you an economical alternative for general use by extending our range of SIMONA® PP-C products.
By changing the name from PP-DWU/-DWST to PP-H, we are looking to improve overall market transparency with regard to the designation widely used for this material.
In addition, we intend to stock as standard our extruded PP-H AlphaPlus® sheets with a single-sided protective SIMONA film (for surface protection) from 3 mm upwards.
The re-designations for PE and PP will also apply to our SIMOLIFE product group – our product range for orthoses and prostheses:
